COMMUNITY
I value the quality of my work and long-term commitment to making the community around me better. Whether through tutoring, creative outreach, or small acts of support, I’ve tried to contribute in ways that feel thoughtful and lasting and impact my community especially in Singapore. These experiences have grounded me and continue to shape how I show up for others.
MADABOUTGIVING
Since 2020, I’ve played a leading role in Mad About Giving as Campaign & Outreach Lead, a community initiative supporting Singapore’s migrant workers. I’ve combined my interests in art, design, and technology to lead creative fundraising campaigns by designing posters, videos, and marketing materials, and mobilising peers and school networks for in-kind donations.
Over SGD 50,000 has been raised, with 10,000+ meals and gift packs distributed, directly benefiting more than 2,000 migrant workers.

Key events
Here are some of the key events that meant the most to me which I helped lead and coordinate

3000 Cupacakes drive
Describe your service here. What makes it great? Use short catchy text to tell people what you offer, and the benefits they will receive. A great description gets readers in the mood, and makes them more likely to go ahead and book.

Marathon Fundraising
My dad is an avid marathon runner, and when he qualified to run the Boston Marathon in April 2025, I decided it would be an amazing opportunity to fundraise for MAG. By making psoters and spreading awareness I was able to raise over $3000
KINDLE SPARK
For over two and a half years, I tutored two primary school students in Math and English through Kindle Spark, a volunteer-led tutoring program that supports under-resourced learners. Sessions were held weekly and offered free of charge.
It was a deeply rewarding experience that allowed me to build long-term relationships with my students and see their progress firsthand. Kindle Spark is an incredible initiative and one I’d strongly encourage others to join.

BEACH CLEANUPS
Over the past few years, I’ve helped organise and participate in beach clean-ups across three countries: Singapore, India, and Thailand. These efforts focused on removing plastic waste, raising awareness about marine pollution, and engaging local communities in hands-on conservation. Each experience has deepened my commitment to protecting coastal ecosystems and shown me the power of small, collective action.

Singapore
This cleanup was a joint collaboration with Mad About Giving, where we worked alongside migrant workers to clean East Coast Park beach. After the cleanup, we treated them to breakfast as a small gesture of thanks. It was a meaningful way to combine environmental action with appreciation for the workers who already contribute so much to Singapore.

SERVICE EXECUTIVE
As one of four student leaders overseeing all local service initiatives at UWCSEA East, I’ve helped coordinate over 60 student-led groups involving nearly 200 students. In this role, I’ve worked closely with NGOs, school staff, and community partners to run donation drives, plan awareness events, and strengthen long-term relationships with over 20 local welfare organizations across Singapore.
This role has taught me how to lead with both structure and empathy, ensuring that student projects remain purposeful, collaborative, and rooted in real community needs.
