COMMUNITY
I value the quality of my work and long-term commitment to making the community around me better. Whether through tutoring, creative outreach, or small acts of support, I’ve tried to contribute in ways that feel thoughtful and lasting and impact my community especially in Singapore. These experiences have grounded me and continue to shape how I show up for others.
MADABOUTGIVING
Since 2020, I’ve played a leading role in Mad About Giving as Campaign & Outreach Lead, a community initiative supporting Singapore’s migrant workers. Helping found this initiative, I’ve combined my interests in art, design, and technology to lead creative fundraising campaigns by designing posters, our website, videos, and marketing materials, and mobilising peers and school networks for in-kind donations.

Marathon Fundraising
My dad is an avid marathon runner, and when he qualified to run the Boston Marathon in April 2025, I decided it would be an amazing opportunity to fundraise for MAG. By making posters and spreading awareness, I was able to raise over $3000 for MAG
KINDLE SPARK
For over two and a half years, I tutored two primary school students in Math and English through Kindle Spark, a volunteer-led tutoring program that supports under-resourced learners. Sessions were held weekly and offered free of charge.
It was a deeply rewarding experience that allowed me to build long-term relationships with my students and see their progress firsthand. Kindle Spark is an incredible initiative and one I’d strongly encourage others to join.
SERVICE EXECUTIVE
As one of four student leaders overseeing all local service initiatives at UWCSEA East, I’ve helped coordinate over 22 student-led groups, partnering with over 17 different NGOS, directly involving nearly 400 high-school students. In this role, I’ve worked closely with NGOs, school staff, and community partners to run donation drives, plan awareness events, and strengthen long-term relationships with over 20 local welfare organizations across Singapore.
This role has taught me how to lead with both structure and empathy, ensuring that student projects remain purposeful, collaborative, and rooted in real community needs.
